GrantGather

About GrantGather

GrantGather helps small nonprofits find federal grants they can realistically apply for, without reading hundreds of dense listings.

What we do

Every morning we pull the open grants listed on Grants.gov, the U.S. government’s official grant site. Most listings that technically allow nonprofits are really built for universities, research labs, or defense contractors, so we set those aside. For the rest, we write a short plain-language summary: what the money pays for, who can apply, and whether it’s a realistic fit for a small group.

How the summaries are written

Summaries are written with AI from the official listing text, and dates and dollar amounts are shown exactly as Grants.gov publishes them. AI can make mistakes, so every page links to the official listing. Check it before you apply.

Who we are

GrantGather is an independent service. We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with Grants.gov or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This product uses the Grants.gov API but is not endorsed or certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
